Although only an hour and a half from the Normandy coast, the Bannerie bnb is inland, in the south of the Orne, a region with a strong rural character and a reputation for its many stud farms.
The gîte welcomes you for a peaceful and charming stay in an unspoilt natural environment, the Normandy bocage and the nearby Ecouves forest.
The gîte is bordered by a large 2,000 m2 meadow with many fruit trees, where it is not unusual to see hares, pheasant hens and even roe deer.

The terrace
Accessible from the holiday rental large living room, the spacious south-facing terrace (50 m2) forms the perfect link between the gîte and its garden.It overlooks the fruit trees in the meadow and the nearby river.The terrace has garden furniture and two large parasols.
You can enjoy your meals here in the fine weather and peace and quiet of the Normandy countryside.

La Cance
A few dozen metres below, flows the Cance, a pretty river that is one of Basse-Normandie's protected natural areas.
Classed as a first category river, it is possible to fish for trout.
Together with the mill reach that joins it, this water source attracts a large number of birds (white and grey herons, woodpeckers, kingfishers, wagtails, birds of prey, etc.), which are a pleasure to watch amidst the greenery.
